Berlin based painter, Octavio Garabello, has had shows around Europe and the USA. He began painting in his native Buenos Aires, studying at the National University of the Arts. The work he does is a constant imprint of ordinary life in his city and the people that inhabit it. It begs the question of what German Impressionism would have been under a more positive paintbrush and color palette. Portraits, architecture, indoor living, and outdoors settings walk us through Garabello’s own story. To accompany all of this, he composes songs that remind of Pink Floyd led by Syd Barret era.
