Diora Reshetnikova is a Russian born painter who disrupts the two-dimensional perception of what’s on the canvas. Her art seems to have life outside of the frame, while she uses only a few tools to create it. She was born in Yekaterinburg but grew up in Thessaloniki, Greece. While there, she took her talent to the University of Thessaloniki and obtained a degree from the Visual and Applied Arts Department. Her exploration of primary and secondary colors, as well as very vibrant black and whites, led her to take up residence in Berlin in 2011. She has also been part of Berlinopolis and the Festival Internacional de Grabado y Arte Sobre Papel in Bilbao.
